This is a budget-friendly military-style compass. While it looks like the high-quality lensatic compasses often seen carried by Soldiers this is a lighter weight and lower quality version. The price of this compass is a good indicator (Quality lensatics cost much more), but we want to be sure you are not disappointed with your order if you go with this version.  They are great to practice with and have around for camping trips etc…
